Hey QCyclust Family,
As we bid farewell to 2023, I'm sitting here, coffee in hand, reflecting on a year that's been nothing short of a whirlwind adventure on two wheels. From logging a humble 27 miles in 2022 to a jaw-dropping 3,308 miles this year, it's been a journey of grit, determination, and a whole lot of pedal power. π΄ββοΈπ¨
Let's talk elevation β 185,705 feet! That's like scaling Mount Everest not once, not twice, but over SIX times. And I didn't even need a sherpa! Who knew my legs had it in them? Well, apart from the occasional muscle screaming, "Are we there yet?" ποΈπ
Spending 228 hours on my bike this year, I've had more saddle time than a cowboy at a rodeo. It's been hours of pushing limits, singing and dancing on my bike to my favorite songs, and discovering new ways to outsmart those sneaky hills. πΆπ΅ββοΈ
Looking back, I'm in awe of what we've achieved together. Each mile, each climb, each ride was more than just a number; it was a story, a memory, a triumph against the odds. From battling headwinds that felt like dragons to gliding down hills like a superhero, 2023 was a year of epic proportions.
This year has taught me the power of persistence, the joy of surpassing my own expectations, friendships, and the importance of a good pair of cycling shorts (seriously, never underestimate them!). It's been a year where each pedal stroke was a conversation with my bike, sometimes motivational, sometimes a bit more... colorful.π€£
But what truly made this year special was you β my QCyclust family. Your support in kind messages or even financially; your stories, and your unwavering enthusiasm have been the fuel to my fire. You've been there through every milestone, cheering me on and sharing in the joy (and sometimes the pain) of each ride.
As we gear up to welcome 2024, I'm filled with gratitude and excitement. Who knows what adventures await us? More miles, more climbs, more laughter β and definitely more coffee stops. Let's keep riding this journey together, sharing our stories, our victories, and our love for cycling.
So, here's to the end of an incredible year and the start of another. Keep pedaling, keep smiling, and remember, every ride is an opportunity to write your own epic story.
With love, laughter, and a little bit of lactic acid,
Queen Caution π΄ββοΈππ
