My Journey to Rediscovery

Hey there, QCyclust family and friends,

If you had told me at the beginning of this rollercoaster year that a dash of purple would be my beacon of hope, I might have chuckled – a bit skeptically, mind you. Yet, here we are. After nearly a year of navigating through what can only be described as the thickest fog of challenges I've ever faced, I did something seemingly small yet profoundly liberating – I got my hair done. Yes, the purple is back, and with it, a piece of my soul I thought I'd misplaced.

This year's journey wasn't just about pedaling through miles or scaling virtual hills. It was about confronting real-life mountains and learning to find balance amidst chaos. It's been a year of trials, tears, and, thankfully, moments of unexpected joy. From financial struggles that had us on the brink to the eerie silence of a social media hiatus, life felt like it was in grayscale.

But then came the splash of purple – a simple act of self-care that felt like a radical act of self-reclamation. It's funny, isn't it? How something as simple as getting your hair done can feel like putting armor back on, preparing to face the world with renewed vigor and, dare I say, a bit of sass.

As I reflect on the year's turbulence, I'm reminded that it's these simple acts of self-care, these moments of personal indulgence, that reignite the spark within us. It's not just hair. It's a declaration of existence, a colorful rebellion against the monochrome days, and a step toward feeling like myself again – happy, feisty, and unapologetically vibrant.

I owe this rediscovery, this journey back to myself, to the incredible support and love I've received from each of you. To those who stood by me, who supported my business by decking themselves out in QCyclust gear, and to the angels who went above and beyond with their donations – you've done more than just help me catch up on the mortgage. You've reminded me of the power of our community, the strength found in unity, and the undeniable impact of a kind word, a thoughtful check-in, or a shared ride.

Coming back after a hiatus was daunting. Stepping into the light, showing my vulnerabilities, and sharing my struggles felt like the biggest climb I've ever faced. Yet, the warmth of your welcome, the strength of your support, and the genuine care you've shown have been overwhelming. It's taught me an invaluable lesson – it's okay to be real, to share the lows alongside the highs, and to lean on those around us.

So, here's to a future where we continue to support each other, to share our stories, and to find joy in the simplest acts of self-care. It's about embracing the changes, both big and small, and moving forward with hope, laughter, and perhaps a little more purple in our lives.

Thank you for being my angels, for lighting up the path, and for ensuring that no matter how tough the journey, we never ride alone.

With all the love, gratitude, and a freshly purpled mane,

Queen Caution 🚴‍♀️💜✨
